Ride straight past the dams, made famous by the dam busters, a spectacular site when overflowing! This ride is perfect for winter when you want to get out but don’t want to deal with mud. There’s even a cafe on route too. This is the shortest loop possible at Ladybower but longer loops can easily be created by adding on Derwent and Howden reservoirs to the north.
Route Description
1. This route can be ridden either way and is a nice easy, flat circular for winter. Follow the road and bridleway around the edge of the reservoir, stopping at the cafe at the dam for a brew. There is a short section on the main road as you cross the bridge however this has a very wide pavement section should you prefer to stay off the road.
COMING SOON – longer routes around Ladybower! There are so many possibilities from this starting point!
